OakPlayer is an independent media player application. OakPlayer does not provide, sell, host, distribute, or control television channels, movies, series, streams, playlists, subscriptions, or other third-party media content.
Users add and manage their own media sources and are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights or permissions to access and use any content added to OakPlayer.
OakPlayer does not endorse or verify third-party content sources.
What this means in practice
- OakPlayer is a player — a piece of software that connects to and displays playlists (Xtream Codes or M3U) that you supply.
- We have no relationship with, and no visibility into, the third-party services or providers behind any playlist you add.
- Any dispute, quality issue, legal question, or licensing concern relating to a specific stream or provider is between you and that provider — not OakPlayer.
- OakPlayer Premium (Oak Fusion, Oak Clean Library, Oak SmartSwitch, and related features) changes how your own added sources are combined and displayed; it does not add, supply, or license any content itself.
The website’s “Add Playlist” submission form
The form on our Add Playlist page is a convenience that lets our team manually enter your playlist connection details into your OakPlayer account on your behalf, using the same Xtream Codes or M3U details you would otherwise type into the app yourself. Submitting a playlist through that form does not change anything described above: you are still responsible for the source you provide, and OakPlayer still has no relationship with, and does not endorse, the provider behind it.
No warranty
OakPlayer is provided on an “as is” basis. Playback quality, channel availability, and content accuracy depend entirely on the third-party sources you connect, which are outside our control.
