FAQs

A media player for Android, Android TV, and Fire TV. Add your own Xtream Codes or M3U playlists and get Live TV, Movies, and Series in one fast app.
Free runs one source at a time. Premium adds Oak Fusion β€” combine multiple sources into one clean library β€” plus automatic failover, priority updates, and zero ads.
Tap Get Premium anywhere on the site (or in the app under Settings β†’ Account β†’ Upgrade), message us your Device ID on WhatsApp, confirm payment, and we’ll switch it on β€” usually within a few hours. Full details on the Subscription page.
Oak Fusion combines your playlists into one library. Oak Clean Library spots the same title across sources and merges it into one entry. Oak SmartSwitch ranks your sources by reliability and is built to move you off one that’s failing instead of leaving you stuck. More on the Features page.
Yes β€” your Xtream/M3U logins are encrypted on your device with the Android Keystore, and OakPlayer never needs them on a server to work. Details in our Privacy Policy.
Android phones and tablets, Android TV, and Fire TV Stick. The interface switches automatically between touch on mobile and remote control on TV.
WhatsApp is fastest β€” tap the button below, or head to Contact. You can also email support@oakplayer.com.
Xtream Codes is a server URL plus a username and password. M3U is a single link (or file) with the whole channel list. Either works β€” you just need to know which one your provider gave you. Full walkthrough on Add Playlist.
Yes β€” the Add Playlist page has a short form for your Device ID and playlist details. We configure it on our side and let you know once it’s ready. Handy if typing on a TV remote isn’t your idea of fun.
Your Device ID just drops back to Free next time the app checks in β€” nothing gets deleted. Your library, favourites, and any extra playlists stay saved; OakPlayer just stops combining more than one until Premium’s back on. More under β€œHow billing and renewal actually work” on Subscription.
No. OakPlayer only plays back playlists you supply from your own IPTV provider β€” we don’t sell, host, or have any relationship with content providers. See our Disclaimer.
Each install gets its own Device ID, so Premium on one doesn’t carry over to another phone, TV, or tablet automatically. Using it on a few devices? Just send us each Device ID.
Make sure it plays through your provider’s own app first, to rule out an outage on their end. If it works there, try removing and re-adding the playlist in OakPlayer for a fresh sync, and check your connection. On Premium with more than one source enabled, SmartSwitch might already be trying an alternate one. Still stuck? Message us with your Device ID and what’s going wrong.
Premium is arranged manually, not through an automated store, so there’s no rigid refund policy β€” but message us and we’ll work it out with you directly.
Not a self-serve one today, since upgrades go through our team. If you want to try Oak Fusion before committing to a plan, just mention it when you message us.
